Little Helpers - Fixing derailments of the Märklin 2660

My recently acquired Märklin 2660, a Bavarian express train of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, is misbehaving. Aside from a locomotive in dire need of a service, the coaches are derailing in various places on the layout.

In this video I will attemp to get the set operational, so I can run it with its complimentary coach set 4261. The models contained in this set have quite a few quirks which I will cover here too.

I'll cover the following topics:
