I show you how to build a DIY rain bar, rain machine, rain maker, whatever you wanna call it! Hollywood films use rain sprinklers in all different ways for outdoor scenes or sometimes for a nice rain effect just outside of a window that will be in that shot. That's what we do in this video today. Have you ever wondered how they make rain in films? It's so easy to make a DIY film rain machine and make movie rain without getting wet.

You can get all of the parts needed to build the rain bar from a hardware store for about $12.
1 3/4" x 10' PVC pipe
1 3/4" coupler with threading on one side
1 3/4" coupler with garden hose adapter on one side
1 3/4" plug
1 PVC pipe glue container
1 PVC Thread tape roll

If you have trouble finding any of these items, the employees at the store are usually super helpful and can help you find the items you need if you explain it to them and what you're trying to build.
