Eating Pasties and Exploring Historic Mine in Grass Valley

Описание к видео Eating Pasties and Exploring Historic Mine in Grass Valley

We took a trip up to Grass Valley, California in the Sierra Nevada Foothills to try out some pasties and explore Empire Mine State Historic Park. During California's gold rush a large number of immigrants came to Grass Valley from Cornwall, England to work in the gold mines. Cornish families settled and stayed in the area and their influence is still visible today by pasty shops, a Cornish Christmas event, and St. Piran's Day celebration.
