Improvising with the Chromatic Scale? | Yes!

Описание к видео Improvising with the Chromatic Scale? | Yes!

Every scale you could ever make is made up of generally 5-8 notes from the chromatic scale. When learning to improvise, it is common to acquire certain 'pop scales' which work well with the common jazzy chords. This is all well and good but did you know that there are over 200 scale possibilities, ranging from 5-8 notes? Think of those scale sounds you're missing out on!

I found the link I said I'd hope to find in the video: http://allthescales.org/

In this video, I provide a three-step process to exploring this oft-neglected treasure chest of scales: first, understand the fact that scales come from the key-less chromatic scale; create your own random scales using 5-8 notes and play them against various chord types (they must have a name but call them what you want); then, identify which ones you like the most and why.
