Harold Burson, named “the century’s most influential PR figure” in 1999, was once a 14-cents-per-column-inch stringer for a Memphis newspaper. He later reported the Nuremberg Trial for the Army radio network in Europe and his one-man consultancy became the world’s largest public relations firm.

He touched the lives and hearts of many people worldwide, including those working for BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe) today. BCW Brussels’ Julie Valente is one of the hundreds of employees that had the pleasure of knowing Harold. Julie’s partner Stephan André pays a special homage to Harold in a painting that will soon find a new home in BCW’s office in Brussels
