In today’s video we have an absolute dinosaur of a garbage truck running an evening yard waste route, complete with a three man crew. Some of you may remember my video of this truck when it was filling in on post Memorial Day yard waste in 2019, and even then it was pretty beat up. You’d think it would probably be scrapped by now, right?

Wrong! With Lakeshore gaining so much work, every single piece of equipment is needed. The funny thing is, a lot of LRS’ older trucks tend to float in between yards and the drivers are almost never the same, so I really never know what to expect on my route. The week this was filmed yard waste was so behind, so when my trash driver finished his route he hopped on the back of this truck to help pound out the route. I stopped filming around 4:30 when they finished my neighborhood, but they still had at least another hour of route left after that because it was quite heavy. I also included some clips of my recycle route driver, since I didn’t get a full video of him that day but I still wanted to upload the video. I hope you all enjoy the video!
