THE 1994 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX | Round Six | Grand Prix 4 1994 Season Mod

Описание к видео THE 1994 CANADIAN GRAND PRIX | Round Six | Grand Prix 4 1994 Season Mod

What if Ayrton Senna hadn’t been killed, could he have won the 1994 Season?

That is the question in this video I am going to try and answer.

Grand Prix 4 Mod

Round of Six of the 1994 F1 World Championship

The Canadian Grand Prix from The Gilles Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal Quebec, Canada.

In this video I am going to recreate the Formula One 1994 season race for race using the brilliant 1994 season mod including tracks for Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix 4. This is hopefully going to answer the question of what would have happened had Ayrton Senna tragically not be killed at Imola that year, could he and Williams team be able to challenge the all-conquering Benetton team lead by Michael Schumacher. Would Damon Hill have been able to produce the form he did in the 2nd half of the 1994 season to challenge for the championship? 1994 Formula One season is regarded as one of the most controversial and dramatic finales in F1 history, with Schumacher famously crashing into Damon Hill to claim his maiden World Championship and Famously and controversially denying the Englishman of what would be a stunning victory.

This programme is going to presented in two formats, firstly, as the BBC’s Grand Prix highlights show that used to air Sunday Evenings on BBC 2 in the 1980’s and 1990’s. This was the show that made F1 so popular in the UK and allowed us to enjoy the brilliant commentary team of Murray Walker and James Hunt. For this I have drafted in CW (Otherwise known as Trev Tyldesley on this channel) the owner of the Virtual Sports Network and his excellent Rise of Ravenwest Series to be the voice of Trev Hunt. I, as always, will take the mantel of Trevor Walker and do my best impression of the great man who we sadly lost this year. This video is as much a tribute to Murray Walker and the fantastic coverage on BBC Sport as it is also a tribute to Ayrton Senna.

The Game I am using is Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix 4, which while released in 1994, still has a stunning gameplay with great physics and the best replay feature which includes the classic F1 TV UI overlay graphics which I am sure will set your nostalgic memories to maximum revs. Grand Prix 4, commonly known as GP4, was released for the PC on June 21, 2002, and is the last Formula One racing simulator released by the developer Geoff Crammond and the MicroProse label. Based on the 2001 Formula One season, GP4 is a huge graphical and physics upgrade from the previous version, Grand Prix 3 which had been released in 2000.

Joining me with Co-Commentary is ‪@VSN-CW‬ ‪@The_RevSolution‬ with the best James Hunt impression on this channel...
