Grandparenting is pretty great. And I hope all of us can begin to view it as a bigger role, where it extends out to others. Maybe you want to get involved volunteering in mentoring relationships, volunteer for your church or another a charity organization, or take on a leadership role that you couldn’t before. However you express it, find ways to make a difference for someone else during this phase of life.

For those grandparents who may have difficult relationships with their kids or don’t get to see their grandkids very often, getting involved in other positive roles reminds you that you have a lot to offer.
