According to a new development, first highlighted by the Crypto India channel, NSE Chief Technology and Operations Officer Shiv Kumar has said that crypto is not approved by the RBI but the regulators have asked them to keep investing in terms of the technology so that the technology can be adopted once the compliance and legal frameworks are available in the country. In addition, NSE is also socialising the technology with regulators and is in discussion with various fintech companies. With TCS also launching its Quartz crypto trading solution, these may be important signals that regulators may be waking up to the potential of cryptocurrencies.
