This is the eighth of ten selections from a program entitled, "A Program of Sacred and Secular Music" given in the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel in 1958.

Jane Marshall

Born: Dallas, Texas, December 5, 1924

Jane Marshall received her graduate and undergraduate degrees in music from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, with the Bachelor of Music degree in 1945, and the Master of Music degree in 1968. She was organist and choir director from 1957-1960 at Northhaven United Methodist Church in Dallas, and has served other United Methodist churches and taught music in the public schools. In 1969 she was appointed to the theory faculty at the Meadows School of the Arts at SMU, adding teaching responsibilities at the Perkins School of Theology there in 1974, where she taught for many years. Though now retired, she continues to teach in the summer continuing education program there, and remains active as a choral clinician throughout the United States. (Worship Matrix)

A song of love and fervor.
