After arriving by ship, several convoys of British Army vehicles depart from the Port of Southampton after participating in NATO Exercise Steadfast Defender. Protected Patrol, Reconnaissance, Utility and Logistic Support Vehicles are featured. Most are from the 7th Light Mechanised Brigade Combat Team, aka 'The Desert Rats', operating as the NATO Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF).

Exercise Steadfast Defender is the largest NATO military exercise to be held since the Cold War. Over 90,000 troops are participating with over 1,200 combat vehicles, over 80 aircraft and over 50 naval assets from all 32 allies, including Sweden. British Forces vehicles travelled by ship from the Marchwood Sea Mounting Centre in the Port of Southampton.
