October | This year all plasters were ripped off exposing the wounds I’ve carried in life. RSD, masking, feeling a failure, never being understood, trying too hard, trying to exist & contribute to a society I just never fitted in to.

It has been incredibly difficult & I’m still not out of it. I understand it’s going to take time & I can’t fight it. I’ve looked deep inside myself & I’m learning acceptance. Still a way to go, but it’s coming!

If you need to cry, cry! If you need to talk, talk! If you need to be alone, be alone! Listen to your body, acknowledge what it is telling you. I didn’t & I ended up here. You are allowed to be you - the good people will stay with you, but there will be people you need to say goodbye to. It’ll hurt short term, but you will ultimately find peace… & peace is priceless to me! ❤️
