'Currently Sitting On Orders Of Rs 3,700 Crore': HPL Electric Joint MD Gives Insights

HPL Electric has successfully obtained an order valued at Rs 144 crore for the supply of smart meters. Gautam Seth, Joint Managing Director of HPL Electric, indicated that the company currently holds orders totaling Rs 3,700 crore. The government aims to acquire 25 crore smart meters, anticipating a significant enhancement in the electrical sector. The rollout of these smart meters is expected to occur within the next two to three years, leading to a substantial increase in future orders for smart meters.
