On top the Idanre hills lies a testament of the pre-settlers of the present day Idanre community. A visit to this location takes you more than 800 years back in time, to tales of Oduduwa and Olofin in relation to the creation of that community.

Several festivals are held until date in Oke Idanre and sites of the times past enable us relive what life might have been like for the ancient settlers.
