Lufthansa - Delayed Flight (Weather + Problems at the Gate) Amsterdam Schiphol to Munich, Germany

Описание к видео Lufthansa - Delayed Flight (Weather + Problems at the Gate) Amsterdam Schiphol to Munich, Germany

This video was recorded on Lufthansa flight LH2309 from Amsterdam Schiphol to Munich, Germany. The flight was supposed to depart at 9:05 p.m. but upon arrival in Schiphol Airport I realised that the departure has been delayed to 9:40 p.m. Anyway, the flight was further delayed.

The Lufthansa and Star Alliance check-in in Amsterdam was virtually deserted. The two employees had literally nothing to do and were reading magazines or books when I showed up around 6 o'clock. Eventually, it took me just a couple of minutes to drop off my luggage. It took just another 5 minutes to clear the security check. That was great!

Once done with the security check, I proceeded almost directly to the departure gate. At the gate, an agent was read a booking. At some point, she closed her book, packed her bag and left. The LH A319 arrived at 9:05 but there was nobody available to connect the jetway to the aircraft. Ten minutes later, a Dnata guy ran to the gate and connected the jetway. So the arriving passengers started disembarking. Then the guy disappeared and came back 15-20 minutes later. This time he had the system password and boarding started. According to the pilot, the delayed was caused by the weather conditions. However, a lot went wrong at the gate as well.

The flight was kind of uneventful. The cabin crew was just doing the job and looked kind of disinterested. At the end, we arrived in Munich with a delay of 1 hour and 20 minutes. I guess, we were one of the last flights to land in Munich that night. The airport was empty and everything was already long closed.

This wasn't the most pleasant of flights but I hope you'll enjoy the video!
