Go Kart Steering Rack Upgrade ~ Manco Deuce Revive Ep2

In today's video we continue working on the old manco deuce. We change the manual steering to rack and pinion steering which fixes the tow out and tow in alignment. Then we move the steering wheel a few inches. I got to practice tig welding on some of these parts. I prefer this method over mig welding now. We tried out the evolution cold metal saw. It's a huge improvement from our harbor freight chop saw.
Overall it was a good ol' productive day in the shop!
