PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG operation in 30 provinces! 231 suspects detained

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 231 suspected terrorist members were caught in operations against terrorist organizations in 30 cities.

Minister Yerlikaya announced in a post from his X account that 231 suspects were detained in GÜRZ-27 operations.

In the operation against PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG terrorist organizations in Adana, Adıyaman, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Ardahan, Bitlis, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Elazığ, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hakkari, İstanbul, İzmir, Kars, Karaman, Kocaeli, Malatya, Manisa, Mardin, Mersin, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, Tekirdağ and Van cities, unlicensed pistols, unlicensed hunting rifles, blank pistols and a large number of digital materials were seized.

Minister Ali Yerlikaya's statement from his X account is as follows:

"In the "GÜRZ-27" operations conducted against PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG terrorist organizations in 30 provinces, 231 suspected terrorist organization members were caught❗️

With the superior efforts of our security forces, we are conducting operations day and night to eradicate terrorist organizations. We will continue our struggle with determination until the last terrorist is neutralized for the peace, unity and solidarity of our nation❗️

Adana, Adıyaman, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Ardahan, Bitlis, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Elazığ, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hakkari, İstanbul, İzmir, Kars, Karaman, Kocaeli, Malatya, Manisa, Mardin, Mersin, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, Tekirdağ and Van Republic Chief Prosecutor's Offices and the General Directorate of Security TEM and Intelligence Presidency coordinated by; As a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Police Departments TEM Branch Directorates, “GÜRZ-27” operations were organized.

The suspects who were caught; 📎Their names were mentioned in their statements and identifications and 📎Conducting activities on behalf of the terrorist organization within the political and press broadcasting areas of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, 📎Providing financing to the terrorist organization, 📎Making propaganda for the PKK/KCK terrorist organization through social media accounts, 📎Participating in illegal street events, and damaging public property were investigated by our Prosecutor's Offices.

As a result of the operations;
Unlicensed pistols, unlicensed hunting rifles, blank-firing pistols and a large number of digital materials were seized.
