"The Bass Player" has come with another reaction video and today's video is Gen X and Gen Z reacting to Jinjer - Vortex.

Today we are doing vortex and this was a lot heavier than the last one was. It's not their heaviest as they've got some heavier than this but this is just a cool ass video.

The singer's name of Vortex is Tatiana Shmayluk. Tatiana Shmayluk is one of the biggest hope in the metal scene. Well, Jinjer was getting more and more popular in recent years, but that’s only a beginning of a beautiful music career – that’s clear. Tatiana’s comet is just as fast as the band’s: not that long ago she ranked number 5 in “25 Best Female Vocalists in Metal”.

Teased over the last few months with just the hashtag #JINJER4, JINJER has now dropped the biggest heavy music news of the year. The band will release their long-awaited new studio album, entitled Wallflowers, on 27 August 2021 via Napalm Records.

Along with an impressive new music video, the band releases their hypnotizing first single ‘Vortex.’ This first taste of the new album features Shmayluk’s vocal power entwining with the eclectic, propulsive spiral aura of the track, not only showcasing the four-piece’s tonal diversity but also proving their individuality once again. The accompanying music video holds up a black mirror to current world events: Qualitatively in the absolute top league and featuring an interplay of potent band shots and virtual features, the four-minute track devours the viewer with destructive energy, and on the other hand represents the gloomy, absorbing mood and oppression of an entire period of time.
