Tanja Rauch-Williams discusses the WEF ReNEW project. ReNEW is an effort by WEF to understand where we stand with resource recovery now and to call for action to improve technology and capabilities to recovery more resources from water. The "NEW" stands for nutrients, energy, and water. Rauch-Williams is Wastewater Innovation Lead for Carollo Engineers as well as principal investigator for the resource recovery baseline project part of ReNEW.

Interviewed by WEF's Travis Loop, Rauch-Williams details the process of establishing the baseline data from existing data and surveys as well as what's happening currently with the ReNEW project.
