Black Flag - Huset, Aarhus, Denmark, March 1st, 1983

03-01-83 AARHUS DENMARK: Hard show last night. People took snow from outside and made snowballs and threw them at us. One guy was fucking with me so I went out and bit him. I crawled up to him from the floor and pulled myself up his legs and bit the fuck out of him. People were throwing money, the coins with the holes. I don’t know what we did to get that. The gig looked cool when we got here. I was so excited to be here for the first time and then they take it all away by being assholes.

Later: In the hotel. The show went great. There was this kid that came on a train all the way from Finland. He was so wasted on glue that he passed out on the side of the stage and was out for all three bands. Mugger put all this echo on us and it sounded strange, came off ok though. People didn’t know what to make of the Heist boys. They played and people didn’t get the jokes. There were a lot of fucked up people. Next we go back to the UK.
