Explore Vestrahorn Mountain and Stokksnes Beach in Iceland

Explore Vestrahorn Mountain and Stokksnes Beach in the Stokksnes Peninsula located on the South East Coast of Iceland. You can walk to a Viking village as you explore this beautiful area.

There is a cafe where you pay a small admission fee. Once you go through the entrance gate, you will see a few parking lots. The first parking lot is for the Viking village, the second one is for the beach where you get a good view of Vestrahorn mountain, and the last parking lot is for the area where you can get a view of the lighthouse.

Vestrahorn Mountain is not far from the ring road. It is about a 2-kilometer gravel road from the paved ring road. It is about an hour's drive from Höfn town.
