AS A YOUNG MOTHER I THOUGHT MY LIFE WAS OVER UNTIL I MET MIRROR OF HOPE

Nolda who is one of our sponsored student undertaking bachelors in civil enegineering, has undergone a lot of challenges since her early years. She got pregnant at the age of 16years due to curiosity as ayoung girl which led to her dropping out of high school. Her mother due to dissapointment decided that she will never go back to school. But because of the thirst to continue studying she decided to look for scholarships opportunities which some denied her the opportunity due to the fact that she was having a kid.

One day she had about Mirror of Hope and decided to give it a try and luckily the staff there gave a listening hear and decided to give her a second chance and that meant hope for her and her child for the future.

That`s what Mirror of Hope is, A place of Hope for the vulnerable people living in the slums of Kibera.
