How I prepare for Everest Base Camp - Thamel, Kathmandu

So I'm heading to the biggest mountain in the world. This 10-12 day trekk demand some good shopping so here is how I prepare for Everest Base Camp in Thamel, Kathmandu.
Nepal is one of the most exciting countries for trekking and some of the most exciting locations are not to easy to hike due to the amount of days, the high altitude and the extreme conditions; preparing yourself physically and mentally is as important as doing it clothing and accessories wise.
I'm no expert, but this at least will put you in perspective more or less what you require to start a journey like this.
