Today is the 50th Anniversary of the final episode of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons' air date, so I decided to create a music video that shows the best of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons while the show ran from 1967-68.

The final episode itself (The Inquisition) was mediocre as a final episode. It would have made more sense if something like Dominion in the new series was done instead, but the series itself was my favourite Gerry Anderson production, as it was a kind of "conclusion", if you will, of the sci-fi Gerry Anderson serials, including Fireball XL-5, Stingray, and Thunderbirds, all of which had links to this series.

It had an indecisive/inconclusive ending, but most of the episodes themselves were terrific, and much better than the new series that was released nearly forty years later.
