Lesson 6 - Lacing Technique Guide | Learn French Beading: Beginner Course

Описание к видео Lesson 6 - Lacing Technique Guide | Learn French Beading: Beginner Course

Now we've got to learn about lacing! This is basically sewing across a petal or leaf to help hold all the rows together. Many people don't like having to lace, but I assure you it is absolutely necessary to not only make your flowers look nicer, but last longer as well.

Materials:
11/0 round seed beads
24 gauge (.5 mm) copper core wire
30 gauge (.25 mm) copper core wire
flush cutters

I'll be demonstrating lacing on a Basic Frame petal, so it's best you are familiar with that technique. You can find my video lesson on that here:    • Lesson 5 Part 1 - Basic Frame Techniq...

Be sure to grab a print or PDF copy of the book that goes along with my Learn French Beading: Beginner Course! You can also order kits for the practice flower patterns that are coming later. Find more info about ordering on my website: BeadandBlossom.com
