Alleged Drug Offenses: Ex-Beauty Queen Surrenders To NDLEA After 8 Months In Hiding

The long arm of the law, always wins in a hide-and-seek game with criminals. So it has been for a former beauty queen, Aderinoye Queen Christmas, also known as Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye, who has surrendered to the Lagos Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA after spending nearly eight months in hiding for drug-related offences. In a statement in Abuja, the Director of Media and Advocacy at NDLEA, Femi Babafemi said Aderinoye was declared wanted by the agency in January, after she evaded arrest during a raid on her apartment in Oral Estate, Lekki, Lagos, on the 24th of January. Aderinoye, who previously held the title of Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Culture 2015/2016, is also the founder of the Queen Christmas Foundation.
