1. Carefully read the brochure for eligibility conditions and other details. CLICK HERE to download a copy of the brochure (pdf format).
2. Read carefully all the instructions given on this page before filling out the online application form. You are advised to take a printout of these instructions to refer to the same while filling out the online application form. Your responses will be recorded in BITS admissions server. After reading the instructions, click on the 'Allow me to apply online' button at the bottom of this page. (You may have to scroll down the page to see the link)
3. After completing the form online, you can take a printout of the filled-in form. You can keep it to yourself for any future reference.
4. A candidate may appear a maximum of two times in BITSAT 2023. The BITSAT exam will be organized in two sets of dates, BITSAT Session-1 (22nd May to 26th May 2023) and BITSAT Session-2 (18th June to 22nd June 2023).
5. A candidate may opt for any of Session-1 or Session-2 or “BOTH”. A candidate may opt to appear twice, even at the time of the first application. For a candidate who has appeared twice in BITSAT-2023, and then seeks admission to any of the First Degree programmes in BITS Pilani, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.
6. A candidate may also choose to appear the second time after the first appearance. To facilitate this process, candidates who have appeared during Session 1 but had not originally exercised the option to appear twice will be allowed to apply for session-2 during 23rd May to 12th June 2023.
7. A candidate who chooses to appear twice will have to pay a sum of Rs. 5400 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 4400 (for a female candidate). A candidate who opts to appear once (Session 1 or Session 2), will pay a fee of Rs. 3400 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 2900 (for a female candidate). If a candidate who opts to appear in Session - only chooses then to apply separately to appear a second time (Session 2), then he/she will have to pay an additional sum of Rs. 2000 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 1500 (for a female candidate). The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
8. If you choose centers within India, the application fee for male candidates and female candidates will be as mentioned above. If you choose Dubai as a test center for Session-1 only, then the application fee for both male and female candidates will be INR 7000. However, if the candidate wants to appear for both the sessions, then the prescribed fee will be INR 9000 for both male and female candidates.
9. The last date to apply for BITSAT-2023 (session-1 or “BOTH”) is April 9, 2023. Complete the online application form along with the prescribed fee by 5:00 PM on April 9, 2023. You are not required to send this form by post.
10. The revision or edit window will open during April 16 - 20, 2023. If you find any error in your filled application form, you can edit it during the edit window. However, you will not be allowed to change or edit your registered E-mail ID and Mobile Number at that time; hence be very careful while filling up these details. BITS Pilani will use these details throughout the admission process for communication purposes.
11. While filling out the online application form you will be asked for center preferences for writing the BITSAT-2023 exam. You can choose the centers from within India or Dubai or Kathmandu. If you decide on centers within India or Kathmandu, you will be asked to give three preferences and will be allotted one out of the three. If a candidate chooses Dubai as a center, he/she will not be asked for any other center preference and will be allotted Dubai center only as per the preference.
12. Before printing out the filled-in application form, the system will generate a unique application number. Note down this number, as it will be required for all future correspondences. Suppose you do not have a printer attached to the computer while filling out your online application. In that case, you can complete the application process and take the printout of the application form later by entering the Application Number, Password, and Email-Id.
13. While applying online, do not use the “Back” button on your browser's toolbar. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another. Further, when you have completed applying, close all the open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal details.
14. A candidate is allowed to fill and submit only one online application form. Multiple applications of a candidate are liable to be rejected.
15. Before starting your online application, prepare scanned images of the Photograph and Signature in the format of jpg/jpeg only. The photo image size must be between 50 KB and 100 KB. The signature image size must be between 10 KB and 50 KB.
