The KitchenAid Fresh Prep Slicer and Shredder attachment is easy to use and works splendidly. It’s an easy way to prep fruits, cheeses, and vegetables, without worrying about scraping your knuckles on a box grater. With the slicer attachment, you get a consistent thickness that is thinner than a food processor. This is helpful for quicker cooking. The consistency of the thickness of the slices allows for even cooking. In this video, I will demonstrate how the attachment works. I will use all three slicers and shredder blades as I shred or slice cheese, potatoes, apples, onions, and carrots.
