Deux ans et demi après la sortie de leur premier EP “Transonic Delta” (sur le label Transonic), la vocaliste-performeuse Maja Jantar (NL/PL) et le créateur sonore Paradise Now (BE/FR) se retrouvent cette fois au couvent d’Hautrage (en région montoise) nouvellement investi par Transcultures pour y installer son Transonic Lab (avec la complicité de l’artiste sonore et visuel Alain Wergifosse).

Ensemble ils ont continué à enregistrer du matériel partant tantôt d’improvisations vocales, guitaristiques, électroniques… ou de paysages sonores, tantôt de textes poétiques multilingues pour finaliser leur premier album dont la sortie est prévue en automne 2024.

D’autre part, Maja Jantar également pris des sources visuelles pour monter des images voyageuses associées à celles prises dans la campagne finlandaise là où elle est maintenant installée et bientôt à d’autres capturées Bastia (Corse) à l’occasion du festival Zone Libre pour y créer leur nouvelle performance audio-visuelle du duo, “Travelling Souls”.

Two and a half years after the release of their first EP “Transonic Delta” (on the Transonic label), vocalist-performer Maja Jantar (NL/PL) and sound creator Paradise Now (BE/FR) meet this time at the newly invested convent of Hautrage (in the Mons region). by Transcultures to install its Transonic Lab (with the help of sound and visual artist Alain Wergifosse).

Together they continued to record material based sometimes on vocal, guitar, electronic improvisations... or soundscapes, sometimes on multilingual poetic texts to finalize their first album, which is scheduled for release in Autumn 2024.

On the other hand, Maja Jantar also took visual sources to put together traveling images associated with those taken in the Finnish countryside where she is now based and soon with others captured in Bastia (Corsica/FR) on the occasion of the Zone Libre festival to create there their new audio-visual performance from the duo, “Travelling Souls”.
