Applications from interested candidates are assessed against the points assessment for self-employed business immigration to Canada. The pass mark for the self-employed persons program is 35 points out of 100.

You can apply for this program and gain points if your age is anywhere between 17 to 52 years. You gain the maximum of 10 points for the age factor if your age is between 21 to 49. This is different from the Express Entry criteria where you lose points if your age goes up.
