Nothing screams "I'm not a professional!" like using improper grammar and punctuation, plus profanity and chat slang, in your blog posts.

One of the major reasons to blog is to establish yourself as an authority, as well as to market your business. There is a reason that it's called "Content Marketing."

What does it say to a potential client when they read your blog laden with typos, poor grammar, spelling mistakes, and punctuation errors? Would you trust them with your sensitive and financial information? Maybe .. but then again, maybe not.

If you aren't comfortable with your grammar background, then by all means pick up a book or use a site like Grammarly to ensure that you are typing accurately. Feel free to hit a fellow VA and see if they spot any issues and, more importantly, see if your post makes sense. Sometimes the brain-to-blog transition misses a few connecting dots leaving the reader to interpolate as to what your end point really is.
