0:08 - Morse Test Procedure for measuring Indicated power on Multi Cylinder Petrol Engine
0:20 - Step 1: The engine is run at constant speed.
0:29 - Step 2: Brake power of engine is measured by dynamo meter when all four cylinders are working.
0:33 - What is Indicated power
1:12 - Step 3: First cylinder is cut out by short circuiting spark plug.
1:32 - Step 4: Speed falls because of non firing of first cylinder and speed restore by reducing the load on engine and torque is measured.
1:50 - Step 5: Repeat the above procedure for remaining cylinders and calculate I.P. of engine.
