This composition was about contrasting musical ideas.
In this case, I thought about instrumentation and their characteristic qualities and timbres in particular but also things like range or tessitura, articulation, rhythm/tempo, tonal centre among others too.
I will probably write a third 'movement' for it at some point to round it out.
