Skin Analysis a full breakdown of what I look for !

Hey guys welcome back to my channel !
I am completely breaking down what I look for in a skin analysis, along with the client intake form.
The analysis is extremely important and after school you will want to refresh up on this!
Take your time during this step and really analyze the skin and compare what you see to what your client has mentioned on the intake form.

Ask questions and better understand what products and treatments are going to be the best fit. Here's a few things to remember when analyzing the skin:
1. Be sure to cleanse the skin before analyzing. Do a double cleanse if the client is wearing makeup the third cleanser will be a targeted cleanser.

2. Be Thorough and take your time on this step with each client each time they are in your treatment room. Use a mag lamp and light to get a really clear view of the skin and the conditions.

3. Use your hands to feel the skin during this step. Lightly pinching the skin can give you insight on hydration levels, thickness, texture or see visible any Papules or pustules, dry or rough patches, and will help Guide you on determining skin type.

4. Ask questions about their routine , intake form , medication, lifestyle choices ect..The more you ask, the more you learn about your client.

5.. Client goals make sure you are asking your clients their goals and making a treatment plan and a skin care regimen to follow those goals.
