The source criticised Labour for wanting to scrap the Rwanda scheme and offer a migrant amnesty, claiming it would make the UK an easy target for illegal migration.

The divide between Tory and Labour policies on illegal immigration is a key issue in the upcoming general election. Sunak’s visit aligns with global interest in similar deportation schemes, with reports suggesting Donald Trump might implement one if re-elected.
