In today's video, we're covering a tough interview question that's been asked to many Machine Learning candidates.

Is this even a reasonable question to ask in a 30-40 minute interview?

The interviewer here wants to see if you understand how the algorithms work and that you can write code in a readable, understandable, and portable format, which is what Interview Query Coach Jeff Li, a Data Science Manager at Spotify, will show you how to do today.

He was asked this same question before in an interview.

'Build a logistic regression model from scratch with the following conditions:

Return the parameters of the regression
Do not include an intercept term
Use basic gradient descent as your optimization method and the log-likelihood as your loss function
Don't include a penalty term
You may use NumPy and pandas but NOT scikit-learn'

You need the coding ability to implement the algorithm in a way that can be reusable to pass this question.
