Silent film, archival footage documentary about the Holocaust experience of the de Kadt family. Mainly featuring Wilhelmina de Kadt, this film shows her life before and during the Holocaust in the Netherlands.

This film has been a long time concept of mine. This is my family's footage and they are the subjects of the film. As a Dutch Sephardic Jew who has never met anyone else like that besides my own family, I decided that it was time for our story to be told. I grew up hearing my Oma tell her story in lectures, but as she got older and had not spoken publicly in years about her experience, I thought it was my time to tell this tale in the only way I knew how.

This film was officially selected by the Amsterdam Lift-Off Film Festival and was a quarter finalist in the Amsterdam World Canvas Film Festival. A huge thank you to Ezequiel Viñao, Nicki Sekhar, Malachi Gregory, and all the players/sound engineers who helped me create this. I couldn't have made this without you. Another thank you to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum for providing me with my family's footage for use in this film.
