This DVD contains six songs live coming from two different live dates, March 26 2004 and May 1 2004. These are two important concerts of LAREINE, since the Nemureru koi wa shinju / 眠れぬ恋は真珠 sampler CD was given out at the first, and the Tsuki no karyuto / 月の狩人 sampler at the second. These are are CD's, and I'm happy to own them both. These two concert excerpts were originally released as fanclub mail-order only VHS tapes, both 28 June 2004, around the same time as the Trailer single, but both were later, on 31 August 2005, rereleased on one DVD, the Live Document Film In Tokyo Kinema Club DVD. I do not own the two VHS tapes, I'm still looking for them, but this footage comes from my copy of the DVD. The DVD usually sells quite expensive but not so much as other DVD's such as Scarlet Majesty or Chantons l'amour.

This DVD in my opinion is pretty low in quality. First of all, the aspect ratio is stretched from 4:3 to 16:9 in a black box, which makes everything look terrible. The lighting of the filming isn't well, the FPS and syncing are bad, there's noise, there's sloppy editing at times, and it's not even live audio, it's the studio songs dubbed over it (even though they actually played it live). I do not know if it's like that too on the VHS, maybe the aspect ratio is normal, I don't know. I did my best to make it watchable, the biggest change I did was making the aspect ratio correct again.

Tsuki no karyuto / 月の狩人 is one of my favourite LAREINE songs, powerful, catchy, with great solo's, and it has a very Japanese sound. It makes for a fine addition on the Trailer single, NEVER CAGE and IMPERIAL CONCERTO.
