The iconic line "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum" was famously delivered by Roddy Piper's character Nada in the 1988 sci-fi action film They Live, directed by John Carpenter. In the memorable scene, Nada enters a bank, arms himself with a shotgun, and utters the line before opening fire on the alien invaders disguised as humans.

Interestingly, the line was improvised by Roddy Piper and was not part of the original script. Director John Carpenter liked it so much that he decided to keep it in the movie's final cut.
