Is Zelda Tears of the Kingdom a Bad Sequel?

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is divisive in more than one aspect, but the main one is, does it work as a sequel to the popular Breath of the Wild? We shall look into the triforce of TotK to see what aspects hold it back to being great sequel or what elevates it to being a fantastic addition to what BotW started.
