Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs. Now, these hangers are designed for use on trailers with a single 2,000 pound to 7,000 pound axles, letting you attach two 1 3/4" double-eye leaf springs to your trailer frame. Now, on this product page, we do have a table to help you determine the hanger location based on the type of leaf springs, so you can find that, as I mentioned, on that product page as you are deciding where you're going to mount your hangers. This is going to help you achieve a 4 3/4" or 5 3/8" clearance between your trailer frame and axle, depending on your axle size.

And this kit includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get two 3 1/4" tall front hangers and two 7/8" tall rear hangers, and these rear hangers have steel bushings. And just to show you how you measure these hangers so you can be confident with the measurements of what you need, the hangers are typically measured from the center of the bolt hole to the top of the hanger. So, as you can see, that's where we get our 3 1/4" measurement. And then on our rear bushings here, we're measuring again from the center of that bolt hole to the top, and that's right at 7/8".

So, in case you we're unaware of that, that's how you're gonna measure those hangers. Going over, again, the rest of the parts of this kit, we're going to also get four 3 1/8" long shackle straps, so you have two here and then you have two here that are part of an assembly with these bolts here. So, you're gonna get two shackles that are going to be separate, and two that are joined with these bolts here as a unit. And, speaking of the bolts, you're going to receive six 3" long by 9/16" in diameter shackle bolts. And I wanted to, again, show you the measurement on the shackle straps.

Those are measured center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole. So, lining that up, as you can see, that's where we get our 3 1/8" measurement on our shackle straps. And then, finally, you're going to get six 9/16" diameter lock nuts. Now, I do wanna point out that this does not include components from mounting axles to springs. That is separate.
