Rudra Narayan is a forest officer and stays with his wife Gayatri and daughter Kasturi. From chilhood Kasturi is very stubborn,  which her mother does not like.

But her father suppors her daughter 's attitude. Time  passes away Kasturi becomes young and beautiful lady.

Finally she falls in love with a boy to whom father Rudra does not like his  daughter’s decision  and  her  fiance .. Finally Rudra decides to marry her daughter with another  gentelman. Now the story  comes to climax.

Is Kasturi married to her loverboy? Or she marries  with  that man to whom her father decides. Finally to whom Kasturi has married and leads a sweet life. Or she lives a sorrowful life... Kasturi resolves these in the said film.
