Shri Ram Stuti glorifies Lord Rama and his characteristics to the best. This sixteenth-century hymn was composed by Gosvami Tulsidas in a mix of Sanskrit and Awadhi languages.

Lyrics & Translation -

श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भज मन हरण भव-भय दारुणम् ।
नव-कंज-लोचन कंज-मुख कर-कंज पद-कंजारुणं॥१॥

O Mind! Sing praises of Sri Ram, who destroys the fear of samsara (repeated birth and death).
Whose eyes, mouth, hands and feet are like a newly blooming crimson lotus.

कंदर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरम् ।
पट पीत मानहु तड़ित रूचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुता वरम् ॥

I bow to Sri Ram, whose splendor exceeds innumerable cupids, and who appears as beautiful as a fresh, blue-hued cloud.
Who appears like a lustrous, white lightning in his amber robes, and who is the beloved of the daughter of King Janaka.

भज दीन बन्धु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश निकन्दनम् ।
रघु नन्द आनंद कंद कोसल-चंद दशरथ नन्दनम् ॥

I sing praises of the Sun-like, friend of the poor and the destroyer of the demons.
The son of Raghu dynasty, a source of limitless joy, gladdens the Kosalas (his mother’s dynasty), and the dear son of Dasharath.

शिर मुकुट कुण्डल तिलक चारु उदार अङ्ग विभूषणम् ।
आजानु भुज शर चाप धर सङ्ग्राम जित खर दूषणम् ॥

With a beautiful crown on his head and adorned with ear-hoops, with a tilak on his forehead and whose shapely limbs are generously decorated.
Holding a bow and arrows with arms are extending to his knees, and who defeated the demons Khara and Dushana in a fierce battle.

इति वदति तुलसीदास शङ्कर शेष-मुनि मन रञ्जनम् ।
मम हृदय कंज निवास कुरु कामादि खलदल-गंजनं॥

Thus says Tulsidas - O Lord, who is the source of unlimited divine bliss for Lord Siva, Shesha and other great sages.
O my beloved Lord, please reside in the lotus of my heart so that all worldly desires and vices can be completely destroyed.
