In 2008, the legendary face of Marvel Comics, the accomplished comic book writer Stan Lee joined forces with a Japanese manga artist to create a manga series called Mechanical Boy Ultimo. It was truly bizarre and perhaps deserving of its obscurity? Today we seek to uncover how truly strange this series was, why it was created, the story and philosophy behind it, and the legacy it has today. Is this manga series worth the time of day or does it deserve to be abandoned and forgotten? You decide, true believer!
