During the Second World War, there were a number of German death squads that conducted the executions of millions of people. Within the Einsatzgruppe were the Einsatzkommando, 3000 men who had the task of being the executioners of so many civilians and innocent people. At the end of the war, very few members of these squads were ever brought to trial.
