This is for light to moderate work. For heavier applications and production processes, one should use a stand alone router table system.

I made this table a little longer and did not take out the stamped table plate because I needed the table to extend far enough so I could install the double track and clear the front and rear rails. If you do not need a double track, then you can make it shorter.

Materials:
 ¾” MDF double layer laminated
 Rockler Router Plate Template Item#20956
 Rockler Router template bit Item#33536
 Rockler level lock hardware kit Item#22994
 5/16 x 1-1/2” bolts (4)
 5/16 flat washers (4)
 5/16 lock nuts (4)
 ¾ & ½ Poplar
 Benchdog dual track Rockler Item#23880
 About 3’ of T-track
 (4) T-track bolts & knobs for fence and power switch.

The glue for laminating the two pieces of 3/4" MDF that gives a longer set time is Elmer's Carpenter's Glue WoodGlue Max. Also water proof and stainable. Item# E7310. I got it at Lowe's. They still have it. 16 fl oz. $6.78 I used almost 2 bottles.
