Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Greater Good Charities, Petland, and American Supply Company all responded to SPCA Tampa Bay’s urgent call for post-hurricane supplies, such as pet food, pet beds, crates, toys, and leashes, to aid our shelter and community members (and their pets) who were impacted following hurricanes Milton and Helene.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition donated an entire truckload of pet food.

Greater Good Charities donated 28 pallets of pet food (with more on the way!) and various pet supplies such as leashes, pet beds, collars, and toys.

Petland donated 3 pallets of crates, crate covers, and several pallets of pet food.

American Supply Company donated several pallets of pet food, treats, and supplies.

In turn, SPCA Tampa Bay hit the ground running to distribute these essential pet items to community members quickly via pop-up hurricane relief distribution events throughout Tampa Bay. Over 3,000 families have been served through this initiative, which is continuous as long as the need is there within our community.

At SPCA Tampa Bay, we understand that one disaster can change everything. We are doing everything within our power to keep families and pets together, such as providing free pet food and supplies to those struggling. The road to recovery can be a long one and we want to help our community get there.
