Unboxing an Ever Ready C36C triode heptode frequency changer vacuum tube. This valve is probably new & in its original box (new old stock). The valve base is a black B7 British-7-Pin & the valve also has a top connection cap. The gold painted glass envelope has the Ever Ready logo, BVA logo & C36C printed on it in black. The B7 base has 981.1 & 1MN printed on it in white. C36C is an Ever Ready code but a possible equivalent is TH22C. The C36C has a heater filament voltage of 29 volts, 200mA.
Printed on the plain box in black is EVER READY, VALVE, the BVA logo, The B.V.A. valve guarantee & Sold By Ever Ready Radio Valve Co., Ltd, Bowmans Place, London, N.7. On the end of the box is EVER READY VALVE & a label with C36C, 18/- & Tax 3/11. Hand written on the box is TH22C but this has been crossed out. On the inside flap is a large number 3.
