A demonstration of Weina's Vocal Modes + How they sound when used in Japanese via the Cross-Lingual Synthesis feature.

"Vocal Modes" are a feature of Synthesizer V Studio Pro which can change the singing style of Synthesizer V AI Singers that are compatible with it. They are often compared to "Appends" of other singing synthesis software, though Vocal Modes tend have a more subtle distinction from the default voice. As of writing this (12/02/2022), all Synthesizer V AI vocals are capable of using Vocal Modes, though some may need to be updated to newer versions in order to utilize them. Keep in mind that “Lite” AI Vocals or Standard vocals cannot make use of Vocal Modes.

"Cross-Lingual Synthesis" ( Often colloquially shortened to "XLS" ) is a feature of Synthesizer V Studio Pro, which allows Synthesizer V AI Singers to sing in languages aside from their default language with a decent degree of fluency. All Full commercial Synthesizer V AI vocals are capable of using this feature, though AI Lite and Standard vocals cannot.

Weina is a feminine Mandarin Chinese & English AI Singer developed and managed by Dreamtonics. She was released July 21, 2022. As a member of Dreamtonics "Gold" series of vocals, she is meant to represent the absolute highest of quality available for the Synthesizer V software. She is voiced and directed by accomplished Chinese actress and vocalist "Weina Hu", who is best known for being the singing voice of "Elsa" for the Mandarin Chinese dubs of the Disney movies "Frozen" and "Frozen II".

Unlike most vocals, Weina has no avatar, simply being represented by an abstract depiction of the letters "WE", followed by a gold bar, representing her status as a member of Dreamtonics' "Gold" line of vocals.

Weina has 7 Vocal Modes: "Delicate", "Tender", "Lucid", "Firm", "Powerful", "Resonant", and "Warm". These vocal modes have a more subtle distinction from the default vocal tone, as they are intended for the refinement of the finer details of her singing style.

Like all Synthesizer V AI vocals, Weina is capable of making use of the Cross-Lingual Synthesis feature. Her default language is set to "Mandarin Chinese", though she is also advertised as an English database. Unlike other vocals with auxiliary XLS data, Weina is actually capable of singing both in Mandarin Chinese and English in Synthesizer V Studio Basic. However, the "Pro" editor is still required to use her for Japanese.
