VESSEL ON DP MODE WITH NIGHT SHIFT DYNAMIC POSITIONING OPERATORS

The vessel is in Dynamic Positioning mode doing USBL calibration and ROV test dive. Also on the video are the Dynamic Positioning Operators that changing over and doing watch on the DP console. Dynamic Positioning system vessels are in demand doing complex offshore operations for the offshore Oil and Gas Industry. Dynamic positioning operators went from rigid dp training starting from DP Basic course then join onboard DP equipped vessel for DP familiarization phase then followed by DP advance course and then back on board for DP sea time requirements. Once complied with all the tasks required on the DP logbook they can now process the application for DP unlimited license to become Dynamic Positioning Operator.
